In Person Events: Meet our guests. Ask questions.  In person events start a few minutes after the performance concludes, but you don't need to have purchased a performance ticket to participate.  Once those that aren't staying for the Conversation exit, you're welcome to take any vacant seat.

Is loving your body enough to feel safe in the world?

While the LGBTQIA+ community has experienced increased societal acceptance, it has also become more susceptible to perpetuating traditional "beauty standards.” On dating apps it’s even become more popular for people to use fatphobic language to deter interactions with bigger people. With moderator Jordan Daniels, from the iHeart Radio Podcast, “Black Fat Femme,” we’ll discuss love, the origins of body positivity, and what radical acceptance & liberation is like for every body. Indigenous artists speak on what it takes to heal trauma from the history of colonization. Tune in on our conversation where we’ll discuss the stories being told about indigenous people. why who tells them is essential to knowing the truth. Moderator, Georgina Lightning (she/her), is an actor, an award-winning filmmaker, an advocate for women and Native American’s involvement in film, and is a co-founder of Tribal Alliance.

Beyond The Binary (live on: June 28, 2022)

An In-depth conversation on what freedom means to those who have liberated themselves from the Gender Binary. How do we as a country change the scope of what we think of gender? We’ll dive deeper on topics such as advocacy and intersectionality.  Moderator is Gaven Trinidad (they/them), the Community Engagement Associate at New York Theatre Workshop and a member of TCG’s Rising Leaders of Color 2021-2022 cohort.

Interracial Relationships In The "New" Age of Racial Injustice (live on: March 15, 2022)

Two couples discuss the racial dynamics within interracial relationships, investigate what conversations are had amongst them with the recent racial awakenings, and talk about how these relationships are portrayed in the media. The panel discussion is moderated by Randé Dorn (MA, MFA, LMFT).
