THE SANDWICH MINISTRY

A small town. A once in a century storm. Three women gather to make sandwiches for neighbors who’ve been displaced from their homes by floods. As they contend with the damage of the storm, they learn what brings them together threatens to tear them apart. Is their friendship strong enough to make it through the night?

Funding for this production is provided by Yale's Binger Center for New Theatre.

Community Partnerships

The production will generate anywhere from 40 to 60 sandwiches every performance. With a strong commitment for connection with our communities, Skylight has partnered with The Hollywood Food Coalition, a local mutual aid effort called Food and Nutrition Services (FANS), and Housing Works of California in order to safely distribute the sandwiches to people in need. Food safety protocols were reviewed and are observed in order to make this contribution possible.
