Ticketing Policies
How to Buy Tickets?
Purchase online, by calling our local box office at 213-761-7061, through our AudienceView ticketing partner at 866-811-4111, or at the door.
We accept cash and any major credit card. Tickets are nonrefundable.
Online and phone purchases are Will Call. Tickets will be available for pick up at our Box Office 30 minutes before performance start time. Select to receive a "Know Before You Go" email for updates and other content. Tickets not redeemed 5 minutes after the event's published start time may be voided and resold. We reserve the right to adjust your seat location.
Theatre Entrance / When Do The Doors Open?
The theatre's entrance is not visible from the street. Located next to Skylight Books, please walk to the rear of the alleyway through the wooden doors, past Pinky's; last door on the left. Doors open 30 minutes before performance start time.
ASL Interpreted Performances
Season productions include at least one ASL Interpreted Performance. See the individual event for the date of performance. Seats that offer the best view of the interpreters and the stage are marked ASL.
Accessible Seating
A limited number of wheelchair and handicap accessible seats are available for people with disabilities and their companions. Accessible seating tickets may be purchased online or by calling our Box Office.
Limited Late Seating
There is limited late seating. We hate turning people away, but the theatre's design doesn't allow for seating after the performance reaches a certain point. You may also exchange your ticket for a later date or enter at intermission.
Ticket Exchanges
You may exchange your tickets for a different date of the same production or your tickets into a donation. To be eligible for exchange, notify the Box Office at least 24 hours prior to the show's start time. Tickets listed for sale through third parties, agencies or brokers are not eligible for exchange, donation, return, or refund. Visit our Ticket Exchange Policy page for more information.
Sold Out Performances / Wait List/ Standby Tickets
A wait-list is offered at the theater once the Box Office opens the day of the performance. Available seats are offered at the highest ticket price available for that performance on a first-come, first-served basis. No phone reservations.
Affordable Tickets, Discounts, Pay What You Can
The Ticket Initiative keeps tickets affordable and ensures that subsidized $20 seats, discounts for Students, Seniors (50+), and PWYC tickets are available to improve access to live theatre. To support the Ticket Initiative, donate to our 2024 Pay It Forward Campaign when purchasing your ticket.
Group Sales
Contact the local box office at BoxOffice@SkylightTheatre.org or by calling (213) 761-7061. Group Sale discounts begin at 8 tickets.
