Lyric Project Concert (2014)

Music is everywhere and for many it is the one common thread in lives disrupted by tragedy and violence.

Celebrating the work of fifteen teen lyricists, Skylight Theatre Company presents a one-night only benefit concert with special guest Lucas Grabeel (Switched At Birth, High School Musical), directed and choreographed by Lee Martino, with arrangements and musical direction by Lucas Cantor.

More than 350 teens from Los Angeles detention centers, high schools and after school programs experienced the lyric writing program. "The Lyric Project," seeded by money from the ASCAP Foundation in honor of Irving Caesar, provides inner city teens an outlet for expression
through the art of song writing.
